CSIM Social Entrepreneurship - Class 6 to 8

Week after week , CSIM is helping me transform my dream into reality !
I strongly believe that Social sector is the exciting place to be in for the youth !!

Class 6 - Field Visit to Rasoolpura - Had an interactive session with the founders of Bhumi , school children, teachers ! Field visit helps you to understand the reality ! Just saying "we will eradicate poverty, give education to the poor" - sitting in Air Conditioned room is very easy ! But literally going to the slum and trying to educate the dwellers about their social conditions and winning acceptance from them ??!! Not that easy !

Class 7 : Marketing of NGOs : How to do marketing for the social sector which deals with intangible ideas/concepts. There is significant difference between social marketing and commercial marketing
eg - How to market "Its important to brush teeth regularly" Vs "XYZ brand of toothpaste is superior" ??

Class 8 : Session on Strategy /Operation Planning of NGOs : Overview on Long Term/Short Term Goal setting,Activity Planning,Gantt Chart etc

Class 9 : RTI (Right to Information) : This class is specially requested by students.Session was handled by two lecturers ( bureaucrat from Commercial Tax and RTI activist from Bhumi) Both gave perspective of RTI within and outside the system.I think this song will awaken us to seek information!



Ask question which triggers the action from Govt before giving the information!
Use the powerful weapon RTI !!
